About Me
I'm a Software Engineer at Trident Sensing, a government contractor, where I develop embedded systems and backend solutions for flight navigation. Working primarily in C++ and Python, I collaborate with electrical engineers to write firmware for custom PCBs designed in-house. My main focus is on two projects: an APNT (Alternative Position, Navigation, and Timing) system for GPS-denied environments and an RF frequency scanning system. On the APNT project, I lead a backend SE team that implemented a custom Kalman filter for state estimation and developed firmware for the south bridge microcontroller managing power delivery and user inputs. Our team also builds real-time fire mapping systems that process infrared camera data from aircraft-mounted sensors. I graduated in May 2024 with a B.S. in Computer Science and a Computer Systems Track certificate from the University of Utah. My interests center on systems and network programming, though I'm drawn to any challenging problem. Outside of work, I enjoy watching basketball, snowboarding, and hiking.

Technology isn't intrinsically good or evil. It's how it's used. Like the Death Ray.
